Flight Simulator Training

We are providing flight simulator training for clients that are learning how to operate aircrafts. Castle Air Academy is an Approved Training Organisation with over 30 years’ experience, specialising in training clients for many different aviation licenses. We use highly trained professional instructors with extensive flying experience to train clients taking our flight simulator course.

Castle Air Academy have one of the largest privately owned fleets of aircrafts in the whole of Europe. We also joined together with Bristow Academy UK in June 2016, and are now the largest pilot training school in the UK. We are providing simulation training for clients looking to experience what it is like to fly an aircraft without having to go straight into flying a real aircraft.

They have gone through years of intense flight training in some of the most adverse weather conditions and challenging environments. Our main facility is based at Gloucestershire Airport in the UK; the Academy operates in a state-of-the-art purpose built facility and has produced in excess of 300 instrument trained pilots.

You will be trained in one of our selected helicopter simulators. Our most unique one would be our AW109E helicopter as this is a complete replica of the actual aircraft with fully functioning autopilot, force trimming and EFIS display; we have made it look exactly the same inside the cockpit and the switch gear. Our instructors are able to walk you through exactly what you have to do as they have many years of experience in flying the aircraft themselves.
