Here at Castle Air Academy there are five specific types of Type Rating training on offer:

• A109
• AW109E
• AW109S
• AS355
• Bell 206B3

These courses will either include a 3 or 8-hour aircraft test (plus a skills test) and we can also provide ‘differences’ training between the AW109E and AW109S helicopters, subject to the relevant Type Ratings held. Your training will start out with an in-depth helicopter construction, system and modes of operation briefing. The next stage is a flying course, tailored to the ratings you hold and previous experience, followed by a skills test which is again designed around specific requirements.
